There is quite simply no better place in the world than the Karoo – and the folk that live there are pretty nice too! We arrived at the farm on Friday evening to a warm welcome from Milanie and her Ouma, and next day the farm and town was buzzing with preparations. I think most of the town was either present as guests, or out on the streets to see the bride come by. Photos were on the farm around sunset time – fabulous light – but also unfortunately the time that the monster-size ants come out in their millions – that was an experience……Milanie had designed and created everything for the day in exquisite detail, and the results were just beautiful.
